Hey y'all, izya gurl
Okay, I have quite a bit on my mind as far as music is concerned. The last piece I've released, "cri de cœur", is very um... how do I put this, different? I didn't expect many people to like it at all, but I released it to serve two big purposes:
1 - Testing the waters
This is music I have a lot of fun making, and I feel as though I'm my most expressive when using samples, noise and other ambient-type techniques, but it doesn't take a genius to know that not everyone can get down to it. cri de cœur served as a good test to see how people would react to this type of music, and from what I gather, it's not too hated.
2 - A bridge to a new "project"
Anonymity has been in the works for some time now, and it's looking to be more electronic and moody than Looking Up. While some tracks are reminiscent of the old orchestral music I'd done, most are not. Some of these I would say are even more strange than cri de cœur. But the song is a nice transition into this new project.
I will get into more of the album later, since right now it's very much so a work in progress, but here's the synopsis I came up with for the album to entice you a bit:
Anonymity is a metaphor on people who hide behind something of their own construction. It deals with themes of envy and lies, with a more narrowed focus on self esteem.
Thanks for giving a shit about me everyone, I wouldn't be here if you didn't ♡
